Interviewed By Mike Duffy
Mike Duffy: I was wondering when you go from high school, minor leagues, what was the biggest challenge when you reach each stage?
Devyn Bolasky: They all have their own uniqueness to them. Each level makes you work harder because every level you go up the players around you and against you are better then they were a step below.
Mike Duffy: What is your favorite thing about being a Yankee?
Devyn Bolasky: It’s great to be a part of a world class organization. This organization has so much history and they really take care of all their players.
Mike Duffy: What is your favorite hobby besides baseball?
Devyn Bolasky: I really enjoy going to the gym in the offseason!
Mike Duffy: Who was your favorite baseball player growing up?
Devyn Bolasky: Growing up and still now my favorite player of all time was Ken Griffey jr. I liked how he played the game hard at all times no matter the situation.
Mike Duffy: What was your favorite team growing up?
Devyn Bolasky: It’s funny but growing up I was a big time Red Sox fan. My family still roots for the Red Sox to this day.
Mike Duffy: What is your favorite movie? What is your favorite tv show?
Devyn Bolasky: My favorite movie would probably have to be The Town. My favorite tv show is Sons Of Anarchy.
Mike Duffy: Do you have a motto or a thing to do to get you out of a rough time?
Devyn Bolasky: When things get rough for me I just remind myself that things will turn around. Just keep doing what I have always done and have fun playing the game.
Mike Duffy: When did you know you wanted to play professional baseball?
Devyn Bolasky: Ever since I can remember my goal has always been to play professional baseball. My uncle pitched in the big leagues for a few different team. My goal hasn’t changed it’s still to me get to the big leagues and help them win ball games.
